Summary
Since I am not going to live shows, I am not focussed on listening to those bands that will be playing nearby in the near future. No one is playing nearby in the near future. I am not listening to music in the car as I drive to work. I work from home now. I am listening to a lot of music while I work. This has shifted the range of music that I listen to. There are more atmospheric and instrumental pieces. There are still rockers. Sometimes the frustrations of work are best met with loud, fast angry music. And don’t get me started on the news. But there are less rockers that spoke to me this year.
